missing dates, missing summer edition

the year’s first snow fell
white and heavy on the lawn
bending tree limbs low

edit: Summer is nice, a little hot, but generally great. Winter is nice too and it’s not the cold that bothers, it’s the harsh and silver light of a low-slung sun. The weeks that we get in Denver between Summer and Winter are pretty great to. I think some people call them Spring and Fall. The first snow always comes when the trees are full of leaves…the first leaves pop right before the ground is covered in snow.
