Moss always grows on the north side of trees. Tried to turn this into a survival lesson for the kiddos today, but couldn’t figure out if you should walk with, or away from the moss. North or South? It’s a fundamental question, I suppose, and I lean to the south. Anyway…I told them to eat the moss if they were lost in a forest.
