only six more years
The neighborhood's been taken over by a gang of chlorine-soaked ten-year-old boys; chasing snakes and throwing sticks. W loves them all...lord help me.
10 yr old 1: Throw me the ball!
10 yr old 2: wikka wikka wikka
10 yr old 1: Throw me the ball, Tigger. Tigg. Tiggy. With your orange and black stripes. With your nose too large for your face.
10 yr old 2 (as he runs, top speed to the middle of the street and beyond): WEEKA! WEEKA! WEEKA!
10 yr old 1 (to me, referencing #2): Have you seen a spiky-headed little boy run by here?
I need an extra weekend to recover from my weekend. On the plus side, the garden is mostly planted, albeit a bit late in the season. This year’s plantings include:
Tomatoes (Super 100’s and Early Girls)
Kohlrabi (fried in butter and salted. oh.)
Edamame (doubt they’ll grow here)
Basil
Peppers (Jalepeno and Cherry)
Radish
Carrots
Corn
Peas
Cucumbers
I’ve got ten minutes of light left, tops, and I’m tired of taking pictures of plants and my house. What’s a 365 guy to do?

Pizza Night Begins
I substituted a half-cup of bread flour with whole wheat
I was going to try a can of fire-roasted diced tomatoes with garlic for the sauce tonight, but I’m going with Whole Foods pasta sauce instead. I’m get the feeling that some of the finer pizza dives get their sauce from a can.
Subordinates #1 and #2 are deciding between Stewart Little and Curious George for the movie....
