The Play-date Era
I’m learning to navigate allergies, screen-time (and homework, soccer, jiu-jitsu, basketball, something named aqua-kikz, etc., etc.,)

Mariachi el Bronx - I Would Die 4U
wha??
Just when I’m thinking of stumbling upstairs to lie in bed and stare at the ceiling for the recommended 8.25 hours, Conan announces Mariachi El Bronx is up next. Nice. So glad I didn’t pretend to go to bed.
edit. sigh. I guess I Would Die 4U was too much too expect in a week of disappointments.
This evening's final candy post...
Left-arm tingling is a heart-attack, right? I’m fairly certain, then, that the right-arm tingle is too much candy.
Kids are coming to the door with full-size m&m’s, full-size snickers, and pouches of pop-smart microwave popcorn in their bulging pillow cases. Is the recession over, or do I really live that close to Costco?

“Freak Show” and “Sexy Pirate” are not acceptable costumes for nine-year-olds, right?
They were like, “Trick or Treat!” and I was like, “one banana laffy-taffy* for each of you!”
*banana laffy-taffy being the Halloween equivalent to a lump of coal at Christmas.
My “one for you, two for me” practice of passing out the candy is working great for me tonight!
